In 2023, I worked as the sole designer for the re-brand of Torpedo Factory Art Center’s annual kid-focused event, Art Safari. This event has been a staple of the community for over 30 years.

I wanted to keep a similar look to the original logo, as to keep the event recognizable to the community. However, I thought the logo needed to be softened and given a friendlier look. I worked to round out harsh lines, including modifying the brand font DIN to have a rounded dot on the i instead of a square. Lastly, I wanted to create an elephant that looked excited to go forth and explore.

To add texture to the design materials, I created a paper collage background of leaves to inspire the participating families as they explore the different activities. Lastly, I designed a simpler, more intuitive building map to help children navigate all 3 floors of activities.
